Taking inspiration from research that has been badly conducted, I created a series to prove that my kitchen exists.Â
Living in a society that grows fast, we also have to adapt at almost the same pace. This pace has become the rhythm we live, work, and sleep in. In the academic world research is being created at an ever growing pace. This pace has never been so liberating for our wish to learn but has also been a curse. While a lot of factors play a role in the ruin of quality, the most terrifying acknowledgement is that we, as humans, are lacking in our approach to these papers. Believing what we want to, without second guessing ourselves.
This series was created to show the viewer that even though the work was created by numbers and careful calculations, we shouldn't always believe the numbers without thinking for ourselves. It motivates the viewer to at least look at the x and y axis and their values.
